Introduction

In the current era of industrialization and education, there still people adhering to convectional perceptions on work. People are failing to think differently from what they are used to thus, minimizing the rate of growth and development in the work place. Mathematics is one of the topics commonly used in the offices where people still have the traditional perception about it and its application. In our day-to-day activities, mathematics is a topic very common in all the activities that are generally done. In accordance to the different industries today people ought to change their thinking in the work place because a lot is changing. Therefore, in the different work place people need to change their thinking in order to improve the attainment of not just mathematics but also education and the industry in general.

Discussion

One of the thoughts that people need to change in the place of work about mathematics is it nature of complexity. Very many people tend to avoid duties involving mathematical calculation and concepts thus leading to the deterioration of mathematics instead of improving it. This culture continues to affect educational and industrial sectors. For instance, the management of the company might have a new program they want to introduce to the system of the company aimed at improving the company’s efficiency. This system is a mathematical system. Therefore, due to the cultural thinking of mathematics as hard, the different employees tend to resist the change thus decreasing the quality of the company and mathematics in general. Consequently, different people in the different work place need to change their attitude and perceptions.

In trying to change the thoughts towards mathematics of the different people in the work place, it should be noted that there are other interrelated factors. For instance, mathematics helps the different people to improve other inherent or learnt skills. This means the quality of education in the work place is improved (Fullan 98). Moreover, different people are encouraged to advance their education thus changing their negative attitudes ultimately facilitating industrialization. In industrialization, when the thoughts of people in the work places changes people tend to become innovative leading to changes in the company thus improving the industry. Additionally, the application of mathematics lead to industrialization hence shows the interrelationship of mathematics and industrialization. It is for this reason that the different employees in the different work places need to change there thoughts to improve the attainment of mathematics thus improve the welfare of education and the industry in general.

Another thought that people need to change in the work places is the role of education in the improvement of operational as well as working skills. When people have attained stable jobs, they usually forget to improve or update their skills to meet the current standards thus leading to inefficiency. The culture where people often forget about their education needs to change (Trowler 35). For instance, in the world of technology, every season has the creation of a new technology while the old one becomes obsolete. This means that if a person had learned about the old system in his education curriculum, most likely he or she knowledge is going to become obsolete. Henceforth, the person needs to go back to training and take a refresher course so that he or she can improve his or her skills of the new technology. Therefore, it is because of such reasons that people need to change their thoughts in the work place so that they can improve their knowledge.

Critical thinking has been known to increase the success rate of social-economic activities of the company or the organization. In the recent days, different employees in the varying work places often do not have a positive mindset regarding their jobs. The only thing keeping them working is income necessity. This means if working was not compulsory to gain income, then different employees would prefer this as opposed to working (Gelsthorpe and West-Burnham 73). Henceforth, they are not maximally productive in the different kinds of task they are performing for the organization. Therefore, the different managers of the different companies or organization need to change the thinking perception of the different employees towards attaining what is best for them and the company in terms of the different skills that are needed. This will lead to the growth of the employees socially and economically. In addition, the company will grow and develop economically due to the improvement of skills.

People in the work places have become redundant in their thinking capacity. Creativity has died in the way people do their work in the work places. Many people in the different workplaces do not want to get tired therefore; they try to take the easiest way possible. As a result, they end up killing creativity, which is usually needed in the work. Additionally, they have killed mathematics and its applicability in the work force. In such a situation the real industrialization of the work place dies. This is only because the people in the different work places do not want to change the way they think. If the different employees started to think and became more innovative in the work places, they would become very creative thus leading to the improvement of attainment in mathematics

Currently, the world is changing same as the different thoughts and perceptions of different people in the out side world. This means that the people as they are changing they expect the different industries to also change in the way they produce the different commodities and the provision of services (Fullan 41). For instance, companies need to start considering the needs of the different clients before they consider the needs of their own. This thought needs to start in the different work places in the company. This is because the different employees in the work places often do not have the customer in mind as it supposed to be. They usually have the traditional thinking concepts where by the different products that the company is producing are the key to the company’s success. In reality, the customer of the company is the key to success therefore, the different employees in the different work places needs to change their thoughts into the customers needs not just the product itself.

In the work place people need to change their thoughts because their can be an outlier in the workplace. An outlier is a situation where something happens out of the ordinary. In an office situation, people are often used to the use of computers to perform their different tasks. When using these computers, they usually tend to perform most of the tasks like the different mathematics computations. However, if on occurrence of a virus attack on the computers possibility of a system breakdown is high. In such a situation, the employees in the different work places must be prepared for anything that can happen. In order for this to happen, the different employees in their different work places need to change their thoughts and be prepared for anything. In all this thoughts, they should be done in the aim of improving the attainment of mathematics. Additionally, they will change the rate of industrialization by improving it since they have started being creative enough.

In order for the thought process to start changing in the different employees in the work places, several concepts must be taken into consideration to help the different employees to change. These concepts are to be used by the management of the different companies or organization since they are the ones who are supposed to initiate the process. First the owners or the management of the different companies need to love the different employees that they have. In this case, they will consider all the suggestions and the efforts that the different employees are trying to make. This will be very helpful because when they are trying to change the thinking culture of the employees there will be no resistance ((Fullan 52).

The next concept they should use is to connect the different peers with a purposes. This is where the different employees in the work places are paired in accordance to relevance in the thinking capacity. By doing this the different employees in the work place will change the thought process by themselves without initiating the process. Another concept to be used is learning. In the process of working in the different work places, the culture of learning should be introduced. This is where several training programs are introduced to the different employees for the purposes of improving their skills in the industry. When such a concept is introduced in the work place, the different employees will tend to start changing in their thinking and they will start to become creative thus improving their skills leading to the growth and development of the company (Fullan 53).

Introduction of transparency rules in the work place is another concept that ought to be used in the different work places. This are the rules where by the management introduces to create a conducive environment for the purposes of change. When such rules are initiated in the work place, the employees have an opportunity to be innovative and creative in their thought process. For instance, the employees will be ready to create their own rules that will help in the thinking of how to help them improve in their different skills. In the subject of mathematics, the employees will become creative enough and introduce new ways in which they would use in the solving of the different mathematical concepts thus becoming efficient in the different work places. In conjunction to this, the improvement of the attainment of mathematics leads to solving the problem of outlier.

Lastly, for the people to change their thoughts in the work places the different knowledge in which they are supposed to acquire should be initiated to the different people from when they are in school. This will lead to the changes of the different cultures that are currently there in the different work places to new ones leading to the change in the different ways of thinking. For instance, in the teaching of mathematics to the different students should be taught in the perspective of improving their skills which will be used in the in the different industries. This will improve the attainment of mathematics since the inception of the thought process is improved from the time in the employee is in school.

Conclusion

            In order for the people to change their perception of thinking in relation to improve the attainment of mathematics, people have to understand as to why they need to change their thoughts. First, people need to understand that mathematics is interrelated with other concepts like education and industry in the work place. This is where people have to start thinking different about mathematics by making it simple for the better part of education and the improvement of the skills. Additionally, people need to change their thoughts in the work place and have the culture of learning to improve their skills to increase the company’s efficiency.

In order for the people to start changing their different thoughts in the different workplaces they need to have some key concepts introduced to them. These key concepts are to be initiated by the management since they are the ones who control the business organization. Concepts like loving the employees, learning connecting the different peers together and the introduction of transparency rules. This helps in changing the thoughts of the different people in the place of work not only in the improvement of attaining of mathematics but also in education and industry in general.
