Bible Short Summary on Verses
A Christian should avoid harsh words and comments as this can provoke someone to anger when not. Harsh words can also aggravate anger thus worsening the situation from the way it was, and this makes it more complicated. There is always peace, joy, and happiness when a good response is done calmly in any communication. It is also possible to calm a person who was angry and make the anger to subside when a soft answer is given. There is need to develop meekness as through it one is able to give soft response which turns away wrath. In most communication between different parties anger is caused by harsh responses, (Proverbs 15:1 Authorized King James Verson).
Anger is always associated with fools and so when one gets angry he is likely to talk like a fool. Every person has a responsibility to control his emotions and being patient thus avoiding unnecessary anger (Bible Teaching About Anger, 2007). One of the ways that one can differentiate himself from a fool is by maintaining the normal state of happiness. When one is angry he is likely to live a careless life just the way the fools do. A Wiseman should not allow the anger to dwell in him but he should try to let it go. Patient is therefore needed in wise man’s spirit, (Ecclesiastes 7:9 Authorized King James Verson).
A Christian should always develop a character of listening where this equips one with knowledge and therefore he is able to make decisions based on judgment. One should not get into immediate response over any matter, but he should reason first and only give the necessary information needed. Christians can avoid getting angry by developing a sense of patient in all matters as this slows the rate of anger as studies of Miller (2003). Since one was made righteous when he received salvation, then he can only live in righteousness when he joyous. The anger of a believer affects the relationship between him and God. It is however the responsibility of Christian to work out his righteousness by all means, (James 1:19-20 Authorized King James Verson).
Love is a very important virtue for every Christian, this virtue was first demonstrated by God when He first loved the world thus man who is the image of God should then practice this virtue. Giving is also an important necessity for every Christian, in this it should be generous giving of the best that one has just as the way God gave His only son. Faith is also an important aspect to every Christian for it is through faith that one believes, and so one must have faith in Jesus Christ so as to believe in Him (Roger, 1999). There is a promise of eternal life that will be attained even after the death of the physical body which will be attained not by all but to those who believe in Christ. The main reason why Christ came into the world was to bring liberty from the bondage of sin but not to judge the world because of its sins. Salvation is only attained through Jesus Christ who is the son of God of which through no other way, (John 3:16-17 Authorized King James Verson).
When one believes in God he should put away all the anxieties of life and therefore he should not worry concerning any thing. As much as one believes in God one should also believe in Jesus Christ and by so doing his life is safe and he shall reach his destiny as Christ is the way towards the destiny, (Perry, 2010). There is a better future to them that believe in God in heaven where they will live in prestigious places. There is a second coming of Christ Jesus whereas in this coming He will not come to do the ministry here in the world but to take them that believe in Him to live in Heaven. Christ didn’t come from the world but he came from heaven and that’s why He was talking about second coming. Christ is the only mediator between God and man and thus if man has to reach God then he must use Him as the bridge, (John 14:1-3, 6 Authorized King James Verson).
For every sin that is committed there is a repercussion that follows it of which at the end this sin, death is attained. There is eternal life for then that believes in God which they shall receive at the very end being a gift from Him. The only way that one can attain the eternal life is just through Jesus Christ. It is therefore necessary for one to accept Jesus Christ, follow his teaching and letting Him be the Lord in to ones life (Payton 2007). On any way of life that one decides to live on, there is always a reward that comes through that way. Every person is given an opportunity to choose on how he shall life in his future by just giving two options: life and death, (Romans 6:23 Authorized King James Verson).
Salvation begins with the confession with the mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord without which one cannot receive it. One must believe in the resurrection and that Christ died but now He is not among the dead. Salvation is not something that one touches or sees for him to receive it; it is only received by faith where one has to believe in his heart concerning Jesus Chris (Hastings & Hastings, 1951). There is instantaneous righteousness which is attained when one believe in Jesus Christ. There are therefore two requirements needed for one to be saved; the confession with the mouth and the believing of the heart. God has power over everything in that He has the power even over the death, (Romans 10:9-10 Authorized King James Verson).
God is merciful and just because of His mercies that we live without which we cannot make it in life. When man is in sin he is dead, where this is not the physical death, but the spiritual death as when the first man sinned then his conscience died. Salvation is not attained on merit or any good work therefore there is nothing to boast for. Salvation is only received through faith where faith is not something that one can see but has to believe (Olson, 1999). God loves the man even in his sinful nature and through this love that He saves man. Once one receives Christ he no longer dead spiritually as God makes him alive with Christ, (Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9 Authorized King James Verson).
