Aim of this Assignment

The aim of this assignment is to reflect upon and articulate the key skills and attributes that you have acquired to date, for example during your (i) studies at

Uni, (ii) your work placements or other work and volunteer experience and

(iii)  Your extracurricular activities.  These attributes are often regarded by employers and professional organizations as highly desirable in graduates, and you may utilize your responses to the questions below in addressing the key selection criteria in future job applications.

 

Please  read all  of  the  instructions  carefully  and  complete  all  parts  of  this assignment.

 

Part 1:                                                                                             (4 marks)

  1. Where did you undertake your work placement (Jasmine Lodge, residential care for the elderly, supported residential services, Temporary and permanent accommodation.) and what was your role (Manager)?
  2. Why did you choose this work place? (about 100 words)
  3. How will you benefit from working there (specify clear professional learning goals)? (about 100 words)

 

Part 2:                                                                                             (16 marks)

 

You are required to provide an answer to each question in the eight categories (below). There should be 16 answers in total. Each answer should be one paragraph in length (about 130 words). At least one of the responses from each category must be related to your professional practice placement.
