Please answer the following question. It has four parts corresponding to four of the films we have viewed during this semester. The four films corresponding to the final are “Maria Full of Grace”; Capt. Phillips; Blood Diamonds”; and “Syrian a.” Each of them has demonstrated some aspect of globalized criminality.
Using quotes and in text citations from your readings as support, please explain how each film showed a certain side of criminality in today’s globalized world. In other words, match the content of at least one academic article with one film. Just make sure you state what you are trying to prove and why the two areas are a match.
Your entire exam should contain a well thought out analysis for each of the four films and as a response should have incorporated a variety of academic resources.
Since you all have been involved with these films in one way or another, rethink your position and see how you can expand upon some aspect of criminality. Since this is a final exam, I do not expect you to cover every possible trace of global criminality related to each. The exam is testing your ability to explain some area of criminality through two sources: the film, and an academic article.
