Discuss what you have done in your past. Summarize all of the jobs you have had in the past and reflect on your previous job satisfaction.

Using the ETS test, the FOCUS assessment, and your career plan, gather sources (at least 5) and write a 6-10 page APA paper (not including the title or reference pages) that analyzes your competencies as a graduate and working professional. The paper should follow this process:

• You will utilize the results/scores of the ETS test that was due week 4. You will also utilize the FOCUS assessment from week 5. You need to ponder these results and question their relevancy, importance, and relationship to your success.

. Below are my results:

. I scored proficient in level 1 and 2 of reading and critical thinking.

.I scored not proficient in level 3 of reading and critical thinking.

. I scored proficient in level 1 of writing, marginal in level 2 of writing, and not proficient in level 3.

. I scored not proficient in all 3 levels of math.

. critical thinking:113, Reading: 123, Writing: 114, Math: 105, Humanities: 118, social sciences: 112, Natural sciences: 122

• The ETS test results will tell help you analyze your strengths and weaknesses in several general studies areas. You will integrate the test results and FOCUS assessment results into your paper ( my score said I am flexible) as you reflect on your past, present, and future career plan as it relates to your skill set, goals, and ambitions.

• First, discuss what you have done in your past. Summarize all of the jobs you have had in the past and reflect on your previous job satisfaction. Also include your previous education, training, military experience or other specialized experience, and cultural background. Explain how these roles helped shape your experiences and current goals.

. I have worked as a nanny, a lifeguard. i have had CPR and First aid training (Just make up what you want about these jobs and how they help shape my current goals)

• Second, discuss what your career plan was (if you have already had a full career) and/or what your career plan is now. This is an explanation of where you are going in your career and in your life and what steps are needed to get there. For this part, you should also use the FOCUS assessment. Reflect on the results and how those results align or do not align with your career plan and/or personality.

. Talk about how I thought about being a teacher, and I still would like to teach english. My ETS scores are good in reading. Talk about how that is reflective of what I would like to teach. Make stuff up.

• Third, discuss your ETS test experience and how the test results relate to your past jobs or future career plans and reflect your academic experience. Consider your strengths and weaknesses in light of your career goals and successes. How accurate do you consider the test results? What might these results mean for you?

.Talk about my scores listed above, and how I don’t really feel like they are that accurate. I found the test boring, so I think I sped through it more than I should have. Then talk about what ever you thing fits. The ETS test was basically a long test that tested your skill levels. Like an SAT.

• Throughout the paper, please include scholarly articles and other credible resources that help you relate your results and jobs into describing you and your goals. For example: If taking the ETS results show that my strengths are in English, and the FOCUS shows that I am good in counseling and I have had jobs in marketing and counseling, I need to describe where I have been and where I am in my career path based on those assessments. I also need to research articles that show, for example, my career path based on my interests and the current job market. Scholarly articles as well as professional websites can be used (i.e., US Dept. of Labor).

• Finally, summarize your experience and education and explore your career path (or lifelong learning goals) going forward. Provide a summary reflection of your academic and professional skills and your feelings about the path you are on. If you plan to continue your education in graduate school, or if you desire to change careers, how do

. Make up whatever you want as long as it flows with the paper. I guess talk about how I plan to go to grad school to be an english teacher.
