Why does she say “Can’t we maybe stop talking”? 4) Would you feel differently about the story is the roles of Jig (the woman) and the man were reversed – that is, if Jig wanted the abortion and the man wanted her to marry him and keep the baby? 5) Could this story be used to support a “pro-life” position? What about a “pro-choice” position? 6) Have you ever had a conversation like this one – where the two people were at “cross-purposes” and cannot seem to directly say what they mean?
