You are what you own (?) . . .
Write a personal ad for yourself. You need to let readers know who you really are. However, there’s a catch: You can only describe yourself in terms of consumption preferences — prized possessions that are really important to you, favorite products, activities, music, etc. Be very specific! Use brand names and/or locations.
Convey your unique personality without providing a photograph, talking about your “personality,” career plans, demographics (e.g., age, sex, place of birth, etc.). Remember, you pay by the word for a personal ad so be selective– you can only afford to publish 100 words or less.
No complete sentences!
The ad is just a list.
Minimize adjectives and adverbs. (Points will be deducted for each! That is, a point for each adjective or adverb.)
