The final paper is a research report entitled “State Assessment.” Identify any one of the 50 states. Explain why you chose this particular state. Review the structure of the state’s government (i.e. constitution, number of counties, types and sizes of local government, type of state legislature, governor powers, etc.) and review 2-3 pivotal issues facing the state presently (i.e. education, marijuana legalization, crime, economic development, etc.).
