Review the throughpositiveeyes.org website. Watch at least five profile videos from at least three
different cities that you did not review in class. While you are watching, think about what influences
people’s risk of acquiring HIV and issues of stigma and discrimination. Try to focus your attention on
the human rights issues around HIV/AIDS, including stigma. You will turn in a 2-3-page typed, doubled-paced paper with your analysis. Note similarities and differences in the profiles across countries.
Additionally, answer the questions: What messages resonated with you? How can we reduce
discrimination and empower people living with HIV/AIDS to live healthier and happier lives? Please
include a list of which profiles you watched (name and city) in addition to the paper. You will review
this in small groups.
