Assignment title:-(Error analysis and correction for young learners)
The assignment consists of tow parts:
First part:
3000 words (references not included) which is a research about (Error analysis and correction for young learners)
Requirements of the research of the first part:
-Evidence of a wide range of relevant reading, research, and reflection.
-Clear understanding of the key issues related to your chosen topics.
-The ability to design appropriate observation tasks and evaluate data in a clear constructive way.
-The ability to present your work in a clear manner, paying particular attention to style, language and referencing
Second part:
2000 words for two tasks (two reports) each report has 1000 words (references not included)
Very Very important Overview: the tasks are two observations found in a classroom in EC school and needed to be analyzed and explained by some points which will be included in the following steps.
1-First task: Error correction in the classroom
2-Second task: Group work in the classroom
Requirements of the research of the second part (two reports):
Two observation tasks, which will help you to record your observation of any aspect or aspects of Language Teaching you would like to observe in detail. The tasks could be based on the observation of an aspect of classroom management, some teaching techniques, classroom interaction, the nature of teacher talk, the learner; anything you feel would be useful. The completed observation tasks are not part of the word count and can be included in the appendix
Evaluate the effectiveness of these tasks in helping you record your observations. Explain how they helped or didn’t help you record your observations and suggest any changes you might make to the tasks to make them more effective observation tools
Write a report based on what you have learnt from your observations. You will need to include a brief profile of the class or classes, give a brief rationale for your chosen area(s) to observe and also say how the observations guided further research into classroom practice
