Please read carefully as this is a little different than what your syllabus states. Your final paper will be a formal research paper, worth 100 pts, on a topic of your choosing (the list of topics is in the syllabus). The topic you choose should be related to the material covered in class, or may focus on a subject that is of interest to you and which deals with death and dying. Topics should be appropriate and include current research and information. The paper must include the following: a justification regarding your choice of the topic, an in depth discussion on the topic, a highlight of current research, and your opinion on the subject matter. The paper should be 7-9 pages in length (not including bibliography and title page), APA style, and include at least 4 relevant academically acceptable sources. You may not use your textbook as a cited source. Double spaced, size 11 font. Final paper will be submitted through Canvas.
