This assignment incorporates the skills, and of writing a response to another writer’s arguments. Identify ideas, arguments, concepts, etc. that are shared by these works. The object of the essay is to define an idea, an argument, or a set of concepts that arise after having read these short articles, and then, after identifying these key ideas offered by the articles, to employ those concepts in an intelligent discussion. If you were to recommend these articles to someone else, why would you want that person to read them? What concept do you think it would help them to get? How could reading these articles help someone?
Introduction should introduce the ideas that you intend to define and explain, as well as the two articles, and your own thoughts about why those ideas are important. The thesis of your paper should be a claim that explains the concepts you want the reader to understand, and may suggest you believe it is important or relevant. Integrate quotations in order to support the claims.
