Nonprofit

paper on a management challenge in an actual nonprofit organization and prepare a project report exploring that dilemma. Sources of information which can be used to identify and examine a management dilemma include, but are not limited to, personal experience, interviews of participants, media accounts, annual reports, and internal documents.

The project report should provide readers with information relevant for discussion in the course. Project reports could present the management challenge and present a suggested resolution of the challenge.

SO to clarify a bit, once you\’ve found a nonprofit that had a management challenge/problem, I would break the paper down in the following way to make it easier to approach it (this is a suggested approach):

1. Quick overview of the company,

2. Identify the business or management problem – define this as companies ALL the time run into problems and need to work through them (i.e. BP\’s oil spill, Toyota\’s recalls on the gas pedal, Volkswagon\’s emission scandal to name a few).

3. Research all that can provide you with the status of this problem from start to current state.

4. Relate back to the text and CITE (include a reference page) on the topics to bridge the gap between practice (what is going on) to how you could approach it.

5. Provide a recommendation based upon the theories/concept in the text.
