Psychosocial Design Intervention in a Time Frame

Abstract

Psychosocial design interventions in psychology are proving suitable in treating troublesome behavior resulted from aggressive classical conditioning. Psychosocial is proving to be suitable primarily because of its ability to ground a positive social environment on the patient, thus letting the patient understand and learn to appreciate him or her-self and others. Based on this approach the commencing discussion will attempt look on application of therapeutic time series design treatment in treating a Kaya, a young boy conditioned with aggressive behavior. The design intervention will be divided into three core sections, first, the Baseline condition, one which attempts to examine why Kaya is verbally and physically aggressive. Secondly, the experiment will introduce the intervention condition, as a substantial factor in letting me the psychologist welcome Kaya my patient, on methods of developing constructive anger management techniques. The third section of this experiment will attempt to initiate a follow-up procedure, one which will look on methods of fear reducing stimulus.

Time Series Design

I will use six months, which will be sufficient enough to gather data and create an intervention point as well as a follow up management program. This is based on the knowledge that I will be soliciting information from my case study; Kaya an elementary school child who displays devious behaviors of being sent off-tasks or even being verbally or physically aggressive. I will use qualitative research method since this will enable me to understand my case study in a natural method. In my analysis, I will use observation, ethnography, and conduct live interviews. Central objectives of my experiments will attempt to prove on the relapse of positive psychotic, relapse prevention, symptoms, negative psychotic symptoms, depression and anxiety that could be eminent with Kaya. Satellite data is going to be generated from three core sections within my graph, firstly, baseline condition, intervention conditions and maintenance condition. The three sections will be assigned, each two months.

Analysis

In the Baseline condition, the research will attempt to understand Kaya condition. Attention will inherently focus on what motivates Kaya to react in reactionary method. In this case, experiments will attempt to establish instigators; for instance, environmental influencers which ground Kaya characters- classical conditioning. In a close analysis of the graph, one will notice the application command graph line is bold and it has a higher percentage of interviews per session. This is based on the fact that a command experiment is going to be applied randomly.

Once vivid information regarding Kaya aggressive behavior is generated, the second section ‘the intervention section’ will attempt to look on methods which can be applied to reform Kaya conditions. This section attempts to integrate therapeutic approach in conducting the experiment, one which will look on the broader concept of healing, with goal of letting Kaya develop constructive methods of anger management grounded on a violent classical conditioning (Finkel, & Baumeister, 2010, p. 323).  I expect in the intervention process, Kaya’s aggression will be directed against intervention proposal designed in this proposal. This document suggests the use of interpersonal approach since this method is significant in establishing cognitive relationship between Kaya and the psychologist. According to the graph, this section will apply the critical statement, primarily the statement which is applied to trigger, access, alter and reformulate Kaya thinking pattern.

The third phase, the maintenance condition on the time frame, I will attempt to look on the probability of extending the interaction treatment to cater for demands. Post therapy maintenance condition will look on the need to develop cognitions, remorse emotions and physiological arousal which is imperative in developing fear inducing stimulus in Kaya’s thinking pattern (Connor, 2012, p. 360). This will be essential in building Kaya responsibility diverging him from the classical conditioned verbally and physically aggressive attitudes. This is will be based on the direction of sessions from session 37 to session 50.

Conclusion

This experiment has attempted to focus on the importance of design intervention in treating children with aggressive behavior. The paper has appointed Kaya case, a boy who is considered verbally and physically aggressive, and inversely proposing the use of psychosocial approach in improving the relationship between me as the psychologist and Kaya as my patient. In particular, the experiment has established that use of time series design is significant in letting aggressive patients understand their weakness.
