Each annotation should describe the source and explain why it is an important contribution to your project. Ultimately, the annotated bibliography will become your list of works cited. Utilize the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers for format guidelines. You will also need it in order to integrate your research into the actual paper. You will be penalized if you do not write your paper according to the guidelines set in the style manual. Finally, your paper should measure eight to ten pages in length, excluding your Works Cited page(s). It should be typed and double-spaced with a font size of ten or twelve.
