1) Always write in past tense
2) Never use personal tense
3) Never use body parts to describe something that has been done in an experiment.
4)Any illustration theater it is a graph, a table, a photograph, a drawing etc… must have a title, axes must be labeled and a figure legend (a descriptive paragraph) should be included underneath the illustration describing the contests.
5) Do NOT Plagiarize. Reference only peer-reviewed and scholarly journal articles that are primary publications.
6) cite references and illustrations appropriately in the body of the text. do not just list them at the end. use the most current APA FORMAT www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed

Must have: Title, Introduction, Procedure, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Literation Cited.

The introduction needs to explain and diffuse all terms and to simplify whats going on and how it all works. Give the person reading enough info to understand what you are doing with no background information.

The Procedure is a step by step
Results: include punnett square, graphs, etc….
Discussion: the first part of this section is where it should be stated theater the results obtained support or do not support the hypothesis. Usually 2 or 3 sentences.
Conclusion: this section should be brief and should bring the report to a close. It should restate whether the hypothesis was supported by the results obtained. It should then go on to make some suggestions as to future work and compare the group results with relevant findings in the literature.
