Project Proposal
Submit a 1-page (minimum 1 page – not to exceed 2 pages) research project proposal here. It needs to be related to Information Security (IS).
Here are some examples. The topics should be pertain to IS topics such as database security, operating systems security, cloud security, FISMA, privacy, malware, forensics, security design, security policy and regulation, IS ethics, biometric security, cryptography, FISMA, HIPAA, etc.
The topic cannot be on a specific hardware, software, or product such as a Cisco ASA 5540 Firewall or Oracle 11G password security. However, if you picked a topic relating to database security or firewalls, you may use a specific platform as a limited example in the general overall context.

– Use three references that will also be in your final paper.

For your proposal and your final paper, you are required to use peer-reviewed and/or scholarly literature.
No Web articles unless it originated from a journal or conference.
No sources without authors or with unknown authors
No wikis.
For your proposal, your sources must originate from books, journals, or conference proceedings.
All papers should be submitted double spaced 12 point Times New Roman font.
